Dermatological testing of cosmetic products
Within our dermatological laboratory, numerous tests can be conducted: dermatologically controlled compatibility assessments, evaluations of efficacy and quality (through use/instrumental testing), as well as stability tests, all performed in a modern, well-equipped laboratory.

Dermatologically Controlled Compatibility Assessment
Within our dermatological laboratory, numerous tests can be performed: dermatologically controlled compatibility assessments, efficacy and quality evaluations (during use/instrumental tests), and stability tests, all conducted in a modern, well-equipped laboratory.
Dermatological studies help assess the safety of cosmetic products, determining whether the product causes allergies or irritations. Patch tests are always conducted under the supervision of qualified dermatologists, who evaluate the skin types of adult volunteers.
The product is applied to the skin under a patch for 48 or 72 hours. Our cosmetic and hygiene product analysis services are designed to support you at all stages of production. Before testing the product itself, the quality of all its ingredients is evaluated. Certain tests may be applied based on the product's ingredients, while others depend on the target consumer group and the type of cosmetic product.
THE FOLLOWING TESTS CAN BE PERFORMED WITH US:
- •
Dermatological semi-occlusive epicutaneous patch test (25 subjects)
- •
Dermatological semi-occlusive patch test (50 subjects, 25 with a known history of allergies)
- •
Dermatological occlusive patch test (25 subjects)

Efficacy and Quality Evaluation (during use/instrumental tests)
Use tests are designed to determine product quality and validate the manufacturer's claims, which must be supported by evidence during use. The tests are conducted on several dozen volunteers who test the product over a set period and under specific conditions.
The evaluation of cosmetic products is always conducted according to test specifications. Instructions and frequency of use are adjusted according to the type of product, and testing can also be conducted in beauty salons, hair salons, and similar establishments.
Instrumental tests provide objective results for skin evaluation after testing and assess the product's effect on the skin. The principle of instrumental tests is to evaluate the skin as a method of assessing the safety and efficacy of the product.

Conducting Stability Tests
Before a cosmetic product is launched on the market, extensive stability testing is required to determine whether the product will remain stable throughout its intended shelf life under normal usage, storage, and transport conditions.
Among other tests (such as the effects of freezing, transport vibrations, packaging compatibility, UV exposure, etc.), a real-time stability test is conducted to assess product stability. For example, if the expected shelf life is one year, the product is monitored over one year based on parameters deemed relevant, depending on the product's characteristics.
If the product needs to be brought to market as quickly as possible, accelerated stability tests can predict the product's shelf life. These tests expose the product to extreme conditions, depending on the geographical region where the product is planned to be sold and the product's characteristics (e.g., for a predicted shelf life of two years, testing is conducted over three months).
